Conditions of admission

Deadlines for submitting files for the 2024 admission competition

For post-secondary technical vocational training programs:

with a duration of 4 years, based on the secondary school certificate

- July 15 - August 3, 2024, announcement of the results of the competition until August 7, 2024, after 1400

In secondary technical vocational training programs:

with a duration of 3 years, for training in related trades, based on the secondary school certificate

- July 15 - August 10, 2024, announcement of the results of the competition until August 14, 2024, after 1200

The submission of documents for the first-year admission competition begins on July 15, 2024. Those wishing to participate in the competition can submit the documents by appearing at the institution's Admissions Committee or remotely (online). You can submit the documents after paying the competition admission fee (100 lei) in the office of the institution or via MPay. When paying, indicate the name of the person who will participate in the admission. Candidates without parents or guardians are exempt from this fee.

To submit the documents online, it is necessary to activate the e-Admitere platform by accessing the web page https://eadmitere.sime.md.

After the launch of the e-Admitere platform:

  1. Select Center of Excellence in Informatics and Information Technologies;
  2. Select the specialty or job you want to apply for;
  3. Enter the data requested by the platform.

Within 5 working days, the Admissions Committee will check the documents and if there are no mistakes, the file will be accepted, otherwise rejected for updating.

!!! The date of submission of the documents does not influence the results of the Admission Competition.

Admission competition for vacant places in the second year of studies

The competition is admitted, for the places declared vacant in professional training programs, after the completion of the first year of study, within the limits of the Admission Plan, approved for each specialty for the previous year.

The competition for vacant places is organized for students with completed school status:
- of the first year of studies at post-secondary technical professional training programs;
- of the 10th grade of high school.

Candidates will additionally present the Academic Certificate.

Dual Education

For holders of qualification certificates in the IT field (Computer technical support operator, data entry, validation and processing operator), high school graduates (high school graduation certificate, BAC diplomas), starting on July 15, 2024, the Center of Excellence in Computer Science and Information Technologies announces admission to the Computer Networks specialty, with training for 2 years, a very interesting specialty and in demand on the job market.

The theoretical and practical lessons will be taught and demonstrated by experienced teachers of the Center of Excellence and experienced engineers of Moldtelecom and StarNet in the form of dual education.

What does dual education consist of?

  1. All places are on a budget;
  2. 50% of the training takes place within the company (laboratories, internships, etc.);
  3. The company hires students as apprentices;
  4. The company ensures the monthly payment of the apprenticeship salary.

Enrollment in dual education will be based on the grades in the study certificate and the conversation with the company representatives.

Obtaining the specialized diploma allows you employment in the field of work or the right, in accordance with the Education Code, art.89, to do higher studies in the field of information technologies.

Conducting the admissions competition

The admission competition is carried out on the basis of the average of the annual grades in 4 profile subjects and the average of the grades from the graduation exams in the study certificate. Enrollment is carried out in descending order of the competition grade(MC), calculated with rounding up to hundredths, consisting of the average of the annual grades in 4 profile subjects (MNDP) and the average of the grades from the graduation exams (MNEA), according to the following formula:

MC = 0,6 * MNDP + 0,4 * MNEA

  • MC - competition average (calculated with truncation to hundredths).
  • MNDP - average annual grades in 4 profile subjects.
  • MNEA - average marks from the graduation exams.

The following profile disciplines were established:

  • language of instruction, foreign language, mathematics and informatics for the specialties "Administration of web applications", "Programming and analysis of program products", "Computer Networks";
  • language of instruction, foreign language, mathematics and history for the specialties "Accounting", "Administrative and secretarial services".
  • mathematics and physics for the related job "Computer Technical Support Operator - data entry, validation and processing operator".

Which certify the candidate's participation in various contests, republican and international olympiads organized by the Ministry of Education.

15% share

15 percent of the total number of places (for each specialty), provided for in the budget-funded admission plan, is reserved for the following categories of candidates:

  • children with severe, severe and moderate disabilities;
  • children left without parental care;
  • children who have at least one parent with a severe disability;
  • children who have at least one parent who participated in the military actions to defend the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, in the combat actions in Afghanistan or in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at Chernobyl;
  • children from families with four or more children, dependent on their parents;
  • children of Roma ethnicity;

Admission regulations

Admission to CEITI is carried out on a competitive basis according to the Regulation on the organization and conduct of admission to technical professional training programs, issued by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova. The number of students enrolled in studies with budget financing as well as by contract with the payment of the study fee is according to the Admission Plan approved by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.

The documents for the admission competition can be submitted during:

  • July 15 - August 3, 2024 (until 1:00 p.m.), for post-secondary vocational training programs (specialties);
  • July 15 - August 10, 2024 (until 1:00 p.m.), for secondary vocational training programs (jobs).

Admission results will be published on the institution's website Admission Results as well as on the information board in front of the institution, as follows:

  • on August 5, 2024, after 3:00 p.m., for post-secondary vocational training programs (specialties);
  • on 12 August 2024, after 1:00 p.m., for secondary vocational training programs (jobs)

The competition is admitted, for the places declared vacant in professional training programs, after the completion of the first year of study, within the limits of the Admission Plan, approved for each specialty for the previous year.

The student enrolled in studies with the payment of the contract can be transferred to budget studies, after the end of the semester, only in the event that a budget vacancy appears in the specialty of the year of study in which he is studying (that is, someone from the budget has been expelled). At the decision of the administration, the student with the best results, appropriate behavior and no absences is transferred from the contract to the budget.

Yes, students who study well and have no absences can get scholarships, in a number that is determined as follows:

  • In specialties, 70% of the no. students in the specialty of each year of study (if there were 10 budget holders, 7 stipends will be awarded). Scholarships are awarded according to semester averages, regardless of the form of education (contract, budget);
  • At jobs, for all budget students, who succeed and have no absences.

Yes, except for those who live within a 30 km radius from Chisinau.

The monthly payment for the dormitory is:

  • 2000 lei in semester 1 and 3000 lei in semester 2, for students from specialties (500 lei/monthly);
  • 750 lei in semester 1 and 1125 lei in semester 2, for job students (187.50 lei/monthly)

The accommodation fee is paid in full each semester.
